They include the chip!No need to take the time, or go thru the mess, taking off your old chip and putting it on the compatible's with-out the chip, every time you want to install a new cartridge!These are original Canon cartridges. They are just remanufactured. Meaning, they are cleaned, refilled, reset, and tested. We own a Canon Pro9000 and use these cartridges with no problems! My ink level indicator works and the color looks great. I wouldn't sell anything I wouldn't use myself or stand behind!
