The Janco Off-Camera Flash Extension Cord is a direct replacement for the Canon OC-E3, an extremely useful accessory for Canon EOS series SLR cameras, allowing an external flash to be used away from the camera. The flash can be located as far as 2 feet away from the camera and still perform all the automatic functions possible with flash photography.
Using an off-camera flash provides the photographer with the flexibility to direct light from a variety of angles, allowing simple but effective fill lighting for balancing outdoor shots or hiding shadows under harsh indoor lights. An off-camera flash is also an effective primary light source when less direct lighting is desired.
Connect the Canon Speedlite flash unit on one end of the TTL cord and the other end is mounted to Hot Shoe unit of EOS camera. The cord can be stretched to up to 2 Feet away from the camera.
The tripod socket on one end of the FC-C3 allows the Canon Speedlite flash to be locked onto a tripod
